Feels a bit used

It has been almost a year since I moved to Manchester. When I first arrived I signed up to a social networking site to find some friends in Manch. One friend I made, POOGO, I did not start chatting with him till 6 months later. At that time he just moved to London from Manchester so we starting with chatting then we moved to phone conversations. Initially I thought this dude just wants sex but he never did any sex talk on the phone so I thought alright.

Well we had a great conversation on Friday night. Sat was the huge Pride weekend and the city was buzzing. I was supposed to meet up with the Scouse but we missed each other. I get woken up at 3:40 am by POOGO he is in Manchester lost all his mates and doesn't have anywhere to go. I kinda hung up on him cus I was sleepy but then text him about 10 mins later. I'm so cynical I do not really believe him but i let him crash at my place. Since we talk pretty frequently he did not seem 100% like a stranger.

About 5 or 6 am we make out a lil. I am 1 a semi good girl and did not think he should get a place to sleep and my booty and 2 on my period so nothing to risky was gonna happen any way. I could not sleep. He is hot, all over me and noisy. i asked if he has Asama cus he kinda sounded a lil nasally and snored LOUD. In the am about 10am he makes another move. I do not mind pg making up but lets be real here. Its going to fast. I tried all my coy lines and he seemed to be unimpressed with them. And then he did it pulled the Put Out Or Get Out move. He said well don't you want to be licked? I said it's a lil fast you will see me next week when I am in London...then he waits a bit and is like I feel like you should suck me or something...umm no I don't so i replied and you will be bored of me too quick. I swear to God he said something along the lines of well I am bored of you already if your not gonna suck me!

After that he could not get out of my place fast enough. Yes that was the ultimate Put Out Or Get Out and men have been pouting and playing that game since the beginning of time. I am not even sure if he really needed to crash at my place and I never quite got the whole story about how he just arrived in Manchester but i don't care. Even if we become friends later he will always be POOGO to me....WANKER!

** the scouse want me to come over to his place today. Holiday tomorrow and he doesn't have to work but eghh I dunno about that.**

My Jew Fantasy

Like any boy crazy female I had a Jewish fantasy...I know not all men will look like Adrian Brody but he is the epitome of what I say by my Jew fantasy.I could not convert like Charlotte York but I would dip and dabble....Jeeze I sound like those guys i hate, "i never been with a black woman before...(insert some sleazy comment).

Well I went on a blind date with a guy. I have seen his pix on msn but I always tell guys don't get your hopes up cus i have to see you in person and see how we get along. The Internet is one dimensional so we will see.

We agreed to meet to watch the Pride parade. Well the first not so good moment was when he called me and with in 2 sentences raving about how sexy my American accent is. All I could notice was how i HATED the pitch and tone of his voice and his accent was just ok. Not great but he was too eager. When we meet he is nice and tall how I like them a good 6'1or 2", black jeans and a black with navy detail button up shirt. During the parade he himself seemed a lil gay gay... Being in SUNNY Manchester the weather was warm, then windy, rainy and freezing. After the parade i suggested we go for a drink. He wanted to walk around aimlessly in the city. Another cheapskate doesn't want to have 1 point to spend money. I can spot it a mile away.

Well Manchester is not new for me I live here I don't want to wounder when I am cold. get me some wine or coffee stat. After putting up with his shenanigans for about 15mins I said where are we going I'm cold is there a destination in mind? He wanted to go to the shopping center. ummmm no as I said I'm cold and my feet are starting to hurt. I suggested we go to Starbucks. He went cus I wanted to and I could tell he was not going to offer to buy my coffee so I acted as if I was alone running my errands. He just stood there behind me. I suggested he find us seats, nope he is just hovering. Well I buy my coffee and we go share a lil sofa.

That's when my Jew fantasy wanted to get wondering hands and rub all up and down my back.I noticed he had stains or discoloration on his jeans, his fingernails were gnawed down to the quick and they were dirty :( and then I think I saw dandruff...I know it is a scalp condition but for someone to hang out with casually I do not have to put up with that. As I am drinking my coffee I realized I learned from my lessons with the never ending date with the pretentious snob and I decided I am going to end this date or I will do my other errands and he can follow me.

He did not get the hints that getting to know u was over so he followed me to go buy a cardigan and then he insisted to walk me to my bus stop as it is the gentleman thing to do. No playa the gentleman thing to do is kick in 3 quid for my coffee. Especially after u tell me you have plans to go out tonight and in traditional English manner get your drink on.

My Jew fantasy was dashed. Wont be seeing him again.

As for the Whale I no longer need to string him along as he will not be able to drive me to Surrey with his fasting...How fast do I drop him?? Do i wait and make it look like I wasn't using him or just say F-it and be obvious in what my intentions were?

What is a Scouse?

Living in Manchester you quickly learn about the Liverpool rivalry. It is a deep rooted rivalry that is usually only expressed in football. Occasionally you stumble upon a nutter like the pretentious snob who takes it too far. A Scouse is a term used for people from Liverpool. I personally have met many lovely Socuse and do not take the rivalry too seriously.

Before Easter I was contacted by a suitor I call the Scouse via a social networking website. He could have had many nicknames or ways to be remembered. In the months that followed facts about him that are revealed that he is from Liverpool, a graphic artist, drinks quite a bit, Irish decent, Catholic, dabbles in cocaine, got into a brawl and dated strippers in his past. I kinda feel the need to post about him when on Tuesday after officially submitting my dissertation I was walking thru Chinatown to my favorite sushi restaurant when I passed the Scouse sitting on a bench taking pictures.

We started off really well. Our first date we watched Manchester United in a Champions League match at a pub, had a quiet dinner then went to a casino and had a fabulous time. Second date was fun as well. I introduced him to Sushi and saki then we had some drinks around town. He kissed me on the cheek and offered to pay for my cab home but I declined. it was such a good date he almost left the last train to come to my place but I didn't get to the phone in time. However, after two dates he seemed as if he lost interest. I went on my first date with Budapest and time slipped away.

After about 2 weeks of no contact he is begging me to come to his place so he can cook for me. At this meeting 1 the food was awful but at least he tried and 2 i had to let him know some ground rules. If I do not hear from you I am unaware you are interested. I in turn will see other people. I spent the night at his place in his bed and he still did not try ANYTHING not even a kiss. strange huh?
Well after that I traveled and we lost contact.

We started chatting via a messenger service and he reveals, he likes me but he is not over his ex. So i say that's fine we are just friends. I have had another date with Budapest at this point I was not waiting for a text, or call from the Scouse.
I did go to his house in July for his birthday. This is when he explains why the previous evening he text me at 5am from outside my house. He was celebrating his birthday with co workers when he got extremely wasted, went to the strip club, got in a brawl and arrived at my place stinking drunk. What was the brawl about? COCAINE! oh HELL NO! I do not need that in my life. As I am sitting there with him and he is telling me this outlandish but true story I told him he was in time out.

I can not take his behavior.
3 bottles of wine later we are in his bed. We are making out and he beginning to hump my thigh like a horny dog...ummm no I am a grown woman that is NOT satisfying for me at all. I later learn form him it has something to do with his Catholic guilt. I have my own religious guilt I can not take on his too.

Last week he told me he is looking to detox his life. I think that is good for him. He drinks almost on a daily basis and dabble in coke occasionally and doesn't have a good diet and smokes occasionally. However, he is attempting to do this all alone. He does not have a support system no one in his family is aware he is trying to cut out all these things and the people he works with go to the pub for lunch and after work. Since bumping into him on Tuesday I am sure he is back to drinking again...what a mess. but for now we will just call him the Scouse.

A few complications

As I mentioned before the Whale offered to help me move. Well I am well aware that help will come with a cost. My booty. He was so aggressive I had the play the Christianity card and tell him I am not 100% comfortable with premarital sex and I would not have sex with him. Doesn't mean he will not be pleasured but hmm I can not see myself with him having intercourse. He annoys me too much. He is insecure and constantly ask if i find him attractive, do i want him and can I control myself around him? Yeah I have great self control, I am all set don't worry about it buddy. In fact while he was in the loo I was exchanging text with Hockey Boy.

Hockey Boy is MIA due to a hernia in the abdominal region. Doctor told him to take it easy for awhile...

back to the Whale well the Lord is on my side. I was supposed to hang out with him today and of course continue to string him along when Ramadan began today. So we can not hang out for 30 days. I should be int he clear till after I move. Yippi. I just hope he is allowed to be in a car with me for 3 hours to help me move.

How to catch a Whale

I tend to have a type that will always get me tall, attractive, dark hair, fair skin, green or blue eyes, can handle himself, ambitious, a lil geeky. (Luca Toni Pictured)

I also have a type that just is not for me. I have been chatting with this guy with a interesting background. Mother is white, English and father is Arab from Saudi Arabia. As as result of DNA this guy is a lil shorter then me i.e. 5'5" (shortie doowhop) and a lil browner then my usual flava. Did I mention he has a full beard? Now upon meeting I did not know about the beard all pix were sans facial hair. This beard leads to him kinda looking like a ...well you know. He said it so himself he would have problems entering America.

His parents are very strict and while they have money and he is very generous I am not 100% attracted to him. Another factor that affects me is that he is Muslim from a strict family where I am a secret. Now he (the whale) is quite rebellious to his family so I asked him what would happen if he was frank with his parents and let them see the real him. He kinda freaked out and was opposed to the idea.

So I then pointed out the contradiction of his parents rebelling from both their families to creating this strict household. His father risk being disowned and I'm pretty sure he was, the mother converted to Islam and I'm sure her family had some problems but they are still together. How shocked can they really be that 1 of their children ends up just like them a little rebellious?

Like any couple you see when the girl looks good and guy isn't quite right and you say wow he must have a lot of money...your right to assume that when you see us. :) at least that is how I feel after 1 date...

He will beg and beg to be allowed to come over or to "kiss me all over" but this dude finally gets a green light and he stalls... i am baffled by men but left very confused by the Brits.

men love tacos and tatas

Time for back story: BUDAPEST

BUDAPEST found me from an inter racial dating site. He and I had enough in common and are mutually attracted. We had a fun first date with awesome kissing. Second date he came to my birthday we drank and had a nice lil make out but I was on my monthly so it was not as satisfying as it could be.

He then decided we are best as friends. Due to the fact he is a total meditating, spiritual hippy and I am Christian. He has more of an issue with our differences then I do. They do not bother me for a casual thing. He is called BUDAPEST because he is moving to Budapest for 2 yrs for a masters program. Once I found out he was not staying in England I felt casual is all we can be.

Thus I didn't understand his lil issues with our differences. Since May (my birthday) I have traveled, he has traveled and our schedules are just not syncing up. He came over today to catch up and eat lunch with me.

The Menu
Tacos (turkey as a low fat option)
Mexican Rice
Refried Beans
salsa, Pico, Guacamole

Dessert
Brownies (not Mexican but British men LOVE chocolate so its good for seduction)

So over lunch we able to discuss our travels and life. I notice he is still attracted so I thought I would encourage it a lil bit. A leg caressing, bending to get some chips and guac. We joked about the "gift" that was left under the sofa cushions from my flatmate and her bf. So he makes his move. I am fully encouraging and before we end leaving our own gift we move to my bedroom.

His kissing is amazing and considering he is a shortie his has been blessed from the lord down below. However, I said no to his offer for sex. I feel full on sex would change things. We are both going in separate directions and most likely will not see him again. As a woman and someone inclined to get attached it was better not to. He felt amazing but no and he understood and agreed once the haze cleared

Side bar men if u give u will receive with the lovely lunch I prepared a simple thank you is going down.

As a black woman my hairstyles will vary. When we made out in May it was so fun with natural hair. My hair was in a twist out. He could grab it run his fingers thru it, pull it totally hot. Now I have a full head weave. NOT to fun for making out people. Men can not really touch they can not let their hands get deep to the scalp too many rules go with full head weave. When your done or u roll over your hair ends up looking at ratty wig knocked askew.

Modified Spanish Tortillia

I once lived in this crazy flat share with a mix of people from everywhere. Two people I learned so much about European cooking from is my old flatmate Pili and her ex Paul. She is of Spanish- American background. Spent her summers in LA and the rest of the year in Spain. Her partner at the time, Paul, was a Kiwi who's father was a jazz musician and chef. She used to make a traditional Spanish tortilla with onion.

My modified tortilla for 1

Ingredients:
3 eggs
3 fingerling potatoes or 1 small potato sliced thin
1/2 cup shredded Gruyere cheese
1/4 red bell pepper diced
2 shallots diced
1 clove garlic minced
5 mini button mushrooms
handful of flat leaf parsley
salt
pepper
red pepper flakes

In small saute pan on medium heat add potatoes, shallots with 1/4 cup olive oil ( seems like a lot but this is how it is done) Fry the potatoes on medium heat constantly stirring. You do not want the onions or potatoes to brown. After 6 mins add the garlic, red pepper, mushrooms, pepper, red pepper flakes generous amount of salt. Keep stirring till the potatoes start to break when turning they should be soft not mushy.

In separate bowl add eggs, parsley, cheese mix together till blended but not scrambled. When the potatoes are soft not mushy drain off the oil transfer potato mixture to the egg mixture. Mix together and put in the small saute pan. Reduce the heat to low/medium. The the mixture go do not bother it for 8-10mins. At the 8 min mark check to see if golden brown on bottom. When brown invert the Tortilla to a plate then slide back into the pan to cook additional 5 mins.

Slide out of pan and your ready to eat. Delicious hot or cold, with salad, bread or alone. great with parties. I like mine with sliced avocado and tomato.

Relationship Karma

So PT DJ has been texting quite a bit. It went from can we hang out? to can we have drinks? to can i come around to yours? to will u let me go down on you tomorrow?

email- to be honest I'm only looking for a sexual relationship.

my response I'm not looking to make you my boyfriend i am moving to London in a month

a few hours later he begins texting. No longer amusing he is just getting irritating.

text 1 do u give blow jobs
text2 so tell me what are your sexual turn ons.

I do not reply

text3 are u not overly sexual?

I get offended. reply- as in frigid? i tell him that some of my kinks need to be explored with someone i know and am comfortable with (hello we just met what is wrong with him). Then i remind him I told you I am not an open book.

text4 to be honest I'm in a happy relationship

when we met on sat we discussed the dating site. I said well you get what you pay for. sometimes the people are not single. He wanted me to elaborate. So i told him about a guy who wanted to meet me but I was not keen on the idea. We chatted via MSN and it comes about that his has a GF that he bought a house with.

response- why be honest now when u could have been honest on Saturday?

text 5 if i told you the truth on sat u wouldn't have given me the time of day

my thinking go with that logic motherf*cker

response 1- i believe in karma. ur not good for me. as your instincts indicated i wash my hands of you.

text 7 what do you want to do?

* the silence should indicate get a clue when i wash my hands of you means i want nothing to do with you*

I have blogged and deleted the idiot. i feel sorry for his GF what the hell? she probably thinks everything is peachy keen or if she knows about his past thinks he wont cheat on her again.

Lemon Cake

Aside from men my interest also include fashion and cooking/baking. I am not sure how I will incorporate my fashion interest but for now here is a very simple low fat recipe for a vegan friendly lemon cake. As I had a dinner party I presented the Lemon cake with a summer fruit selection and fresh vanilla whipped cream.

Lemon Cake

1 1/2 c. flour
1 c. sugar or sugar substitute
1 tsp. baking soda
Dash salt
1/3 c. vegetable oil
1 tsp. vanilla
1 tbsp. vinegar
1/2 c. cold water
1/2 c. orange juice
zest of 1 lemon

Sift the dry ingredients. Add wet ingredients and mix well but do not over mix. And bake at 350 degrees F (170 C 150 if fan assisted oven) . In a 8 x 8 inch ungreased pan for 30-40 mins. You will know it is done when toothpick or knife comes out clean.

can be made into cupcakes but start checking if done after 20 mins

This is an easy recipe to follow and modify. It is an excellent no fail chocolate cake as well as vanilla.

Since I was having guest over I drizzled a lemon glaze over top as soon as it came from the oven.

Lemon Glaze

2/3 cup confectioners (icing) sugar
2 tables spoons of fresh squeezed lemon
zest of 1/2 lemon

wish together till smooth might have to add more sugar.

Yesterday I had a coffee date with a new guy from the site. He too is a graphic designer, as well as a part time DJ. Now this guy was kinda eager in the emails we exchanged. He sent me like a portfolio worth of pictures and I still felt like I would not be 100% sure as to who he is when I met him.

Well 2 hours before we are supposed to meet he ask is we can meet earlier. Sorry no, you have your allotted time slot, I am getting ready and I have other plans that the new time slot would not work for me.

45 min before we are supposed to me he starts texting the heck out of me with incessant questions that he could wait to ask over coffee.

15 mins before the time i thought we are supposed to meet he is asking if we could change our plans and he can come around to mine with a bottle of wine. Is he crazy?? No i do not know you. why would i invite you into my flat?? and we ALL know what you are getting at with those suggestions....

ok I arrive at coffee house just on time. except he thought we were meeting 30 mins later. So I had time to sit in this cafe/ bar thing texting freinds and solidifiny the plans for tonight.

Finally he arrives. I am not sure what to call this guy. I guess PT DJ (part time dj). My first thought when he sat down was NO, NO, NO. That was jus tthe intial as he was way to blonde for my taste. However, he seems like a decent guy. Funny conversation, little nervous...i like making them nervous, haha.

It is saturday we both had plans. So it was time for our eventing to begin. I meet up with friends for dinner and not 45mins after we say goodby PT DJ is texting me. So many i can not keep up but the jist is

text 1 It was great to meet you
text2 you lips and eyes are stunning

text10 i need to feel your lips on mine

you get the point. over coffee i wasnt giggling or tossing my hair, i wasn't stroking my hair to indicate intrest. i was just having a drink to get to know this guy. not one of my text were overly flirty. I just met u can we calm it down a bit?

it sparked a disscussion amongs my freidns and I. what fetish am i fulfilling for these guys? Is it me being American, black, or chunky??? I dunno but they sure get hot for it real fast.

Lastly when at the bar and hanging with "the Greeks" there is this one greek I met the second weekend I was in Manchester. He is so HOT, Georgous, FIT, SEXY what ever term you want to use he is a good looking guy. Universially hot, any girl wil say he is hot, or not for me but he is cute. This guy is very intelligent but painfully shy. I just found out that he pays for sex!

why do men who seemt o have it all feel a need to visit a prostitute? So what he is shy but to pay the 50 quid and then and addtional 50 quid for anal is too much. I can not belive it. He could have had me for free! or at least dinner and dessert.
